Chiefs beat Broncos. Again. Plus, Week 6 game picks and fantasy advice
Welcome to Week 6 in the NFL. The Broncos have still not beaten the Chiefs since Peyton Manning retired. He hasn't played in eight years btw.
Previously on NFL: Kansas City Chiefs 19, Denver Broncos 8 — Yes, the Chiefs have now won 16 straight games against the Broncos. This "Thursday Night Football" game wasn't pretty by any means, the Chiefs stumbling in the red zone all night. But it never felt like Kansas City was in danger, either ... largely due to the fact Russell Wilson threw for just 95 yards and tossed two picks. Travis Kelce was really good for K.C., and Taylor Swift was at Arrowhead. Yep, that's about all the highlights.
Game of the week: Seattle Seahawks at Cincinnati Bengals — We don't care that the Bengals are just 2-3 did you see them last week?!? This could be a statement game for both teams: The Bengals proclaiming themselves back; the 3-1 Seahawks proclaiming themselves a real contender in the NFC. It should be a good one.
Sneaky-good game of the week: Detroit Lions at Tampa Bay Buccaneers — Speaking of teams who can make statements! The Lions (4-1) and Buccaneers (3-1) meet in a battle of division leaders. The winner of this one has a legitimate claim to the No. 3 spot in the NFC behind the 49ers and Eagles.
Survivor Pool Game of the Week: New York Giants at Buffalo Bills — We've reached the "whoever is playing the Giants" portion of the season. The Bills are coming off a rough defeat across the pond to the Jacksonville Jaguars and should be highly motivated to restore order. The playing status of Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is unknown after he hurt his neck on Sunday. It would be a surprise if this "Sunday Night Football" fixture in Orchard Park, New York, was close. (Previous survivor pool picks - Week 1: Ravens ✅, Week 2: 49ers ✅, Week 3: Chiefs ✅, Week 4: Eagles ✅, Week 5: Dolphins ✅)

NFL news, notes and analysis
- Cowboys sound delusional: Micah Parsons shrugging off the Cowboys' dismantling at the hands of the 49ers is officially a major problem for Dallas, Jarrett Bell writes.
- Former Broncos player eviscerates team and Jerry Jeudy: Mark Schlereth believes Broncos players, namely the disappointing former first-round draft pick receiver, need to be held accountable for the team's dismal 1-5 start. Steve Smith also has some thoughts about Jeudy.
- Aaron Rodgers says he's not in 'vax war' with Travis Kelce: Of course the unvaccinated Rodgers opted to keep his "Mr. Pfizer" comment in the news cycle.

Fantasy football: How's your season going so far?
Are you on top of your league or, at least, in playoff positioning? Or, does your team need some oomph to get its season on track? Our fantasy advice can be a valuable guide, regardless of your current fantasy football status.

- Studs, duds and sleepers: Here are some names to know going into Week 6. While Josh Allen and the Bills have the perfect elixir in the Giants to rebound from a sleepy, jet-lagged loss in London, don't expect Ja'Marr Chase to replicate his huge Week 5 game.
- Waiver wire possibilities: Unfortunately, injuries are piling up, which makes careful maneuvering of the waiver wire vitally important to fantasy football success.
- Speaking of injuries: How should you handle the injuries to Justin Jefferson and De'Von Achane?
