Cowboys win high-scoring TNF showdown. Plus, Week 13 game picks and fantasy advice
Welcome to Week 13 of the 2023 NFL season. The Dallas Cowboys already have put the pressure on the Philadelphia Eagles to earn a result in their NFC title game rematch with the San Francisco 49ers.
About last night: Dallas Cowboys 41, Seattle Seahawks 35 — The Cowboys won a 14th straight game at the friendly confines of AT&T Stadium, but the Seahawks helped turn this one into a high-scoring showdown with no punts.

Game of the week: San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles — Not only is this a rematch of last season's NFC championship game and a vital matchup in terms of this season's playoff picture, these two teams DO NOT like each other. "It was a lot of boo-hoos last year, a lot of crying, a lot of 'What if?' A lot of this, a lot of that," Eagles linebacker Haason Reddick said earlier this week, referring to the 49ers' playoff defeat last season, in what likely turned into bulletin board material for the 49ers.
Sneaky-good game of the week: Kansas City Chiefs at Green Bay Packers — We've been waiting all day for Sunday night star power. Taylor Swift and the gymnastics 🐐 Simone Biles might both be in attendance at legendary Lambeau Field. Biles' husband, Jonathan Owens, made a big play in the Packers' surprise win against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day. Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, will be eager to make a big play after the Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in Kansas City's last prime-time game.
Survivor pool game of the week: Cincinnati Bengals at Jacksonville Jaguars — We here at 4th & Monday regret to inform you that we did not survive Week 12 after the Chicago Bears defeated the Minnesota Vikings (insert Simpsons at least you tried gif). However, we're providing a great public service of making one more survivor pool pick this 2023 NFL season, and we like the Jaguars' chances of defeating the Jake Browning-led Bengals on "Monday Night Football." (Previous survivor pool picks — Week 1: Ravens; Week 2: 49ers; Week 3: Chiefs; Week 4: Eagles; Week 5: Dolphins; Week 6: Bills; Week 7: Seahawks; Week 8: Chargers; Week 9: Saints, Week 10: Steelers; Week 11: Cowboys. 👍 Week 12: Vikings. ❌)
