Which teams will play in Super Bowl 58? Conference championship previews
The road to Super Bowl 58 has hit its penultimate stop, the conference championships, a playoff round that has produced some of the most memorable moments in league history.
Let's take a look at the conference title games. Which Super Bowl matchup would you most like to see?
Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens (3 p.m. ET on CBS) — Reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes vs. expected 2023 NFL MVP Lamar Jackson. One already has collected two Super Bowl rings, while the other is seeking to put past playoff failures behind him and advance to his first Super Bowl. This is the Chiefs' sixth straight AFC title game appearance, the second-longest such streak in league history (bet you can guess which team has the longest). On the other sideline, the Ravens are hosting the AFC championship for the first time ever and aiming for their first Super Bowl in 11 years.

Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers (6:30 p.m. ET on FOX) — The Lions have advanced to a postseason level not seen in years and aim for the franchise's first Super Bowl appearance. The 49ers, meanwhile, are used to reaching this point in the playoffs. This is their third consecutive NFC championship game appearance and fourth in the last five seasons. Boasting a loaded roster with an NFL-high nine Pro Bowl selections, the 49ers are heavy favorites to return to the Super Bowl after a four-season absence.
