Bills dominate Dolphins, Tua concussed. Plus, NFL Week 2 predictions and fantasy advice
Week 2 of the 2024 NFL season is underway! Let's get to it ...
➤ About last night: Buffalo Bills 31, Miami Dolphins 10 — The Bills continued their domination of the rival Dolphins under quarterback Josh Allen, who improved to 12-2 in games against Miami. However, the concern after the game was for Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who left the game with a concussion.

➤ Game of the week: Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs — Despite the Bengals' horrendous Week 1 loss to the New England Patriots, this is still a huge game in terms of AFC supremacy. The Bengals are notorious slow starters. These two teams have played some high-octane thrillers in recent years, including the 2021 and 2022 AFC championship games. While Bengals QB Joe Burrow will attempt to bounce back from a lackluster Week 1, Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes will try to keep his team on track for a historic Super Bowl three-peat.
➤ Sneaky-good game of the week: Chicago Bears at Houston Texans — The future of the quarterback position in the NFL will be on display in this enticing "Sunday Night Football" showcase between an expected AFC contender and rising NFC contender. The focus (and rightfully so) will be on C.J. Stroud — last year's offensive rookie of the year — and Caleb Williams — "Hard Knocks" star and this year's offensive rookie of the year favorite. Unfortunately for the Bears, Williams could be without two key offensive weapons, as wide receivers Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze did not practice on Thursday.
➤ Survivor Pool Game of the Week: Las Vegas Raiders at Baltimore Ravens — We got wiped out 💀 of Paste BN Sports' survivor pool last week when the Cincinnati Bengals inexplicably lost to the New England Patriots 🤦♂️. This happened to a lot of people. So, if you picked the New Orleans Saints against the hapless Carolina Panthers, lucky you! Despite our Week 1 elimination, we will provide a bonus survivor pick this week, and the Ravens are an obvious choice against the visiting Raiders.
If you're still alive in Paste BN Sports' survivor pool, make sure to make your Week 2 pick!

NFL news, notes and analysis
- 'Focus on football'? Deshaun Watson, Browns condescend once again: Watson and the Cleveland Browns dusted off the same ole playbook on Wednesday, when the embattled quarterback, coming off a disastrous season opener, met the media for the first time since he was accused in a civil lawsuit of the most serious sexual misconduct allegation directed at him yet to spur a fresh NFL investigation.
- Tom Brady is far from the GOAT in NFL broadcast debut: Just because Tom Brady had the most decorated NFL career of all time, it doesn’t automatically mean that he’ll immediately be the best broadcaster. The transitive property does not exist in football and sports television.
- Ravens player rips Chiefs' 'super unprofessional' medical staff after injury: Kyle Van Noy said it was "unacceptable" how long it took a specialist to see him after he was injured in the 2024 season opener.
- Rams hilariously adopt Kobie Turner's 'old man' posture on bench: The Rams released video of defensive lineman Bobby Brown III poking fun of Turner for sitting down on the bench with his feet crossed and his hands folded. The exchange was hilarious.
Fantasy football: Stay calm and don't panic
Coupled with the uncertainty that is Week 1, devastating injuries (Jordan Love and Puka Nacua, anyone?) and fantasy football defeat threaten to derail your season. But there's still plenty of time to turn things around. Maybe you started 1-0 ... well, good for you! You still need some tips and tricks to keep the winning vibes alive. We're here to help!
