With the Tokyo Olympics postponed to 2021, and COVID-19 continuing to spread, much of the Olympic world remains dormant. Athletes are training in their living rooms, driveways or at nearby parks. And competitions have been postponed or canceled — though, at least in track and field, there's hope of a return in August. 

Meanwhile, the International Olympic Committee and Japanese organizers are continuing to work out the logistical issues related to the Tokyo Olympics. IOC president Thomas Bach said Thursday that it's too early to speculate about possible modifications to the Games.
