Coronavirus Watch: Obama says leaders 'aren't even pretending to be in charge'
We're getting a glimpse of what travel will look like in a post-coronavirus lockdown world. One thing is for sure: There are going to be major changes.
Meanwhile, the Internet is talking about former President Barack Obama's commencement speech in which he said U.S. leaders "aren’t even pretending to be in charge" during the pandemic. And many states and communities eased up on social distancing rules this weekend. Some examples:
- North Carolina: Churches were free to conduct services without restrictions
- New Orleans: Dining room service was permitted to resume at 25% capacity
- Virginia: Virginia Beach reopened for fishing and exercise
- California: Many parks and hiking trails reopened
- Wyoming: Strip clubs reopened (and reporter Trevor Hughes went to a "masks on clothes off" party)
