- FDA head Stephen Hahn said the agency could grant "emergency use authorization" of a COVID-19 vaccine before the completion of Phase Three trials. Multiple drug companies have begun that stage of testing, and results are expected, at the earliest, in October or November.

- Twitter removed a retweet from President Donald Trump that shared false information on COVID-19 deaths.
