Coronavirus Watch: Vaccinations set to start tomorrow in the UK
Vaccinations are set to begin Tuesday in the United Kingdom, per the BBC. Roughly 50 hospitals are preparing for their first shipments of vaccine after the U.K. became the first to grant emergency authorization to Pfizer's vaccine last week.
In the U.S., the Food and Drug Administration is preparing for a key Dec. 10 meeting to review Pfizer's vaccine candidate, and distribution of the vaccine would likely begin within 24 hours after authorization.

- Rudy Giuliani tested positive for COVID-19 and has been admitted to Georgetown University Medical Center, tweeting that he is "getting great care and feeling good." The Arizona Legislature closed down after Giuliani possibly exposed lawmakers to the virus during a visit last week.
- Most of the United States' virus cases have been reported in the last two months, and more than a quarter of total cases have been reported since Nov. 16, per a Paste BN analysis of Johns Hopkins data. Here's where to keep track of daily case counts on a state and national level.
- The pandemic could be further complicating a transition in the White House. Moving a new president into the executive mansion, normally a precise ritual, will be done under extraordinary circumstances when the Bidens move in.
Stimulus status: Lawmakers are closing in on another stimulus bill that would give Americans about $300 in extra federal weekly unemployment benefits, but no $1,200 check.
