Coronavirus Watch: Virus has been spreading in US for one year
Wednesday marks one year since the first case of COVID-19 was reported in the U.S. — a 35-year-old man returning to Washington after a 3-month trip to visit family in Wuhan.
In that time, millions of cases have been reported, and the U.S. death toll will soon eclipse the number of American casualties from World War II. But the war with the virus continues as tens of thousands test positive every day and the nation's daily death counts routinely tops 3,000.
It's Tuesday, and this is Coronavirus Watch from the Paste BN Network. Here are today's headlines, as of 2 p.m. EST.

- Can companies require their employees to receive COVID-19 vaccines? Yes, but they would have to comply with current workplace laws. Here's how they could issue such a mandate.
