Coronavirus Watch: Did we have a Super(spreader) Bowl?
Super Bowl LV came and went, but not without the worrisome backdrop of COVID-19.
Florida, on the same day it hosted the game, became the first state to report 200 cases of U.K. variant B.1.1.7, according to a Paste BN analysis. - U.S. Rep. Ron Wright, R-Texas, died Sunday at 67, weeks after testing positive for COVID-19. Wright, who had also been undergoing treatment for lung cancer, is the first sitting member of Congress to die after being infected with the virus.
