Coronavirus Watch: The impact of COVID infection on mental health
People who were bedridden for a week or more with COVID-19 remain at an increased risk for anxiety and depression more than a year later, according to a new study.
But those who had milder infections are actually at lower risk for mental health problems than the general public: A mild infection could even boost mental health.

- Costco will soon drop its special hours for seniors, health care workers and first responders after holding them for more than two years amid the pandemic.
- The United Kingdom is set to drop all remaining COVID-19 travel measures on Friday, allowing all travelers – regardless of vaccination status – to enter without a passenger locator form or negative test.
- Schools across the country are struggling to spend their COVID-19 relief money as quickly as planned, according to a new survey.
