Coronavirus Watch: Which COVID bivalent booster should I get and when?
With fall in full swing, health experts are urging Americans not to wait to get their bivalent COVID booster as they expect cases to rise in the coming months.
Major pharmacy retailers including CVS and Walgreens say they're offering both Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech bivalent vaccines, depending on the location. Experts say you should get whatever bivalent booster shot is available.

- Booster visibility challenges: More than half of American adults have heard "little" or "nothing at all" about updated COVID-19 vaccine boosters that target the newer omicron variants, according to a Kaiser Family Foundation survey.
- Doctors in California who spread misinformation or disinformation about COVID-19 could be disciplined for unprofessional conduct under a law signed Friday by Gov. Gavin Newsom.
- German health minister Karl Lauterbach said Friday that the country is seeing a steady rise in COVID cases as it goes into the fall months and urged elderly citizens to get a second omicron-targeting booster shot.
