Coronavirus Watch: Biden receives updated booster shot
President Joe Biden got his updated COVID-19 booster shot Tuesday and urged other Americans to do the same heading into the holiday season.
More than 20 million Americans, including nearly one in five seniors, already have gotten the updated vaccine since it became available in September. But Biden said not enough people are getting the free shot.

- Carnival Cruise Line further eased its COVID-19 rules this week, dropping requirements for proof of vaccination or COVID-19 testing for trips 15 nights or less.
- The trial of the right-wing extremist militia group the Oath Keepers has been delayed after the group's leader tested positive for COVID-19 in jail this week ahead of the fourth week of testimony.
- The country of Qatar will drop most of its remaining COVID-19 restrictions at the beginning of November leading up to hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup later that month.
