A quick-thinking hero saves the day when he spots a runaway stroller

Sometimes, picking a favorite story of the week is hard to do. But as a parent, one dramatic video really struck a chord this week. It featured a heart-stopping moment in which a great-aunt faced a nightmare scenario.

It was a routine day as the woman parked her nephew in his stroller beside her SUV outside a car wash and began rummaging around inside the vehicle. But in an instant, everything changed when a gust of wind caught the stroller and sent it rolling toward the busy street where cars were racing by. Immediately, the woman made a grab for it, frantic to save the baby, but tripped and fell. As she struggled to get up, a surveillance camera captured the horrifying scene as the runaway stroller trundled downhill toward the rushing traffic. Disaster seemed unavoidable, but just as you felt compelled to look away, a quick-thinking stranger became an everyday hero. 🦸🏻‍♂️

Speaking of heroes, this week has been National Nurses Week, when we get to recognize some of the unsung heroes of the medical profession. Not only is the job tough, but so is the training, and we all know what it's like waiting for your exam results.😵‍💫 So, you'll get a kick out of this student's reaction and that of her parents when they open her nursing exam results.
