Lone cheerleader wins 1st despite team deserting her

I’m your kindness correspondent, Terry Baddoo, with your weekly selection of cute and inspirational stories tailor-made to brighten your day.😎 My favorite story of the week is a great example of turning a lemon into lemonade. 🍋 When 8-year-old Peyton arrived excitedly for a cheerleading competition, she was dismayed to find that none of her teammates had turned up. As her coaches explained, that would mean the team forfeiting unless Peyton was prepared to go solo. So, despite being unrehearsed and extremely nervous, 🙀 the rookie cheerleader decided to go for it. And the result was spectacular! 🌟
