For example: Fox Sports commentator Jason Whitlock compared LeBron's parenting to LaVar Ball and correlated his "thirst for fame" to cocaine addiction.
— But with all of the LeBron criticism came plenty of support. For example: AAU star Dior Johnson explained why LeBron's enthusiasm is so important to him, tweeting, "My Dad has never been to ONE of my basketball Games ... In fact I haven’t even seen my father in 4 Years lol ..... Don’t let this go over you’re head !!!" Jayson Tatum expressed similar sentiments, tweeting, "I can’t wait till my son get older and I get to support him with whatever he wants to do!"

— Rockets GM Daryl Morey said James Harden was “very enthusiastic" when he found out about the Westbrook trade.
