If you are of a certain age, then you grew up with Mr. Rogers. You grew up listening to him talk about being nice and inclusive. 

You watched him tackle all sorts of social issues, such as race, without really understanding on your own what was going on. But in the end, you somehow left with a better understanding of the world. 

And, honestly, that theme song. Iconic. 

As we remember Mr. Rogers, on his 95th birthday, we have to wonder if the current-day Republicans would consider him and his neighborhood woke. Read that column below.
