Paste BN Opinion newsletter: Make it illegal to declaw cats

Chances are you don't live in Michigan. But also, hi to those of you who do. Chances are, though, that you do own a cat or know somebody who owns a cat or just generally loves cats.

We're hoping none of you support declawing cats, because that's just evil and shouldn't be a thing. That whole windup is us letting you know that today we have a column out that looks at an effort to make declawing cats illegal in Michigan.

Read this column if you care about cats. Especially read it if you support declawing cats. Then stop supporting declawing cats.
