If your mom is the queen of her kitchen, genuinely useful, quality kitchen tools can make a huge difference. Undoubtedly, the most popular among them in recent years is the Instant Pot. There are many options in the Instant Pot line-up, but our top-rated is the Instant Pot Smart WiFi 6 (about $149). It's fast, precise, and intuitive—a handy 8-in-1 cooker with the convenience of WiFi connectivity. 

Should mom lean more into the health-conscious style of cooking, a good blender is essential. The KitchenAid 5-Speed Diamond Blender is our top-rated, and at around $99.95, it's proof that you don't need to spend a lot to get a lot of power. The fact that it's dishwasher safe and comes with a five-year warranty is just the cherry on top.

Little luxuries are another great way to say, "Hey, thanks for all the good momming." For your Instagram mom, we recommend checking out the Prynt Pocket, our favorite portable photo printer, for about $100. It offers a great blend of quality images and portability. Other mobile printers we tested required a Bluetooth connection, which could prove confusing. The Prynt is simpler—you just plug it right into your phone. We love this printer, but be forewarned that it needs special paper. You can buy packs with 20, 40, or 60 prints, as well as a paper subscription plan. 

For something more affordable but no less luxurious, consider an essential oil diffuser. From Amazon to your local tchotchke shop, there is no shortage of options, but they're not all created equal. Our tester determined that the InnoGear Upgraded 150ml Diffuser is  the best for most people. At just $13 or so, it's super affordable, and it looks great as well. 

Finally, why not the gift of knowledge? DNA tracing kits, like Ancestry DNA, have opened up a whole new world of family we never knew. We tested AncestryDNA and found it to be simple to use and thorough in results. You can find out mom’s heritage about two to three weeks after testing.
