Whether dad is hoping to train for a race or is setting a specific goal for steps, a fitness watch is a great way to begin tracking progress. At about $140, the Fitbit Charge 3 has an easy-to-use interface and app, five-day battery life, and a community of wearers.

Active dads need to stay hydrated. For an affordable, yet durable, option consider the Hydro Flask water bottle (about $30). This was a top performer for us, not only because it kept ice intact for over 24 hours but because it’s portable, versatile, and well designed.
