The best Father's Day gifts, as tested by the experts.

It’s that time of year where you take inventory of everything dad owns and figure out what to get him for Father’s Day—besides a tie.

If you haven’t thought of the perfect gift yet, don’t worry! The Reviewed test labs have been busy evaluating and ranking the best of the best in headphones, luggage, grills, and more. In fact, we ran extensive tests on 52 products just to bring you the six recommendations below—and that’s just a fraction of what we test each month. We’re positive we’ve found the perfect something for even the pickiest fathers out there.

If your dad is also known as the family chef then he needs a topnotch grill for BBQ season. The Napoleon NK22CK-L (about $225) was our favorite charcoal grill in our test group. It holds a dozen or more burgers at a time, gives a great char, cleans easily, and has a sturdy build. But if he prefers a gas grill, our top pick is the Weber Spirit II E-310 (about $449).

While you’re at it, why not give dad a place to keep his beverage collection? At about $249, the Wine Enthusiast Evolution fridge is made specifically for bottles and cans and is hands-down our favorite. It holds about 86 cans of beer, and features adjustable shelving and a glass door to show off dad’s selection.

Dad deserves quality grooming tools for a task he does every day. The Wahl Lithium Ion+ Stainless Steel Grooming Kit (about $60) is our favorite beard trimmer because it has an effective trim, quality feel, and incredible battery life. We think dad will love how fast and precise the trimming and shaping process is with this tool.

Keep dad active with gifts that encourage health conscious habits. Whether dad is hoping to train for a race or is setting a specific goal for steps, a fitness watch is a great way to begin tracking progress. At about $140, the Fitbit Charge 3 has an easy-to-use interface and app, five-day battery life, and a community of wearers.

Active dads need to stay hydrated. For an affordable, yet durable, option consider the Hydro Flask water bottle (about $30). This was a top performer for us, not only because it kept ice intact for over 24 hours but because it’s portable, versatile, and well designed.
