Watching Dorian: Florida is in the clear
The skies are clear in Florida, so this will be our final Storm Watch newsletter for Hurricane Dorian.
On behalf of our journalists across the Sunshine State, I want to thank you for following our coverage. Our work feels especially meaningful during times of emergency, when Floridians are hungry for accurate information.
We appreciate those of you who sent feedback via our newsletter survey. Many of you said you valued our non-sensational, clear coverage of Dorian. That's exactly what we were striving for.
If you haven't filled out the survey yet, please do so here. It will help us provide the best information possible in the event of another hurricane. Let's hope the next one doesn't come too soon.
Do you like getting your news via email? We have other newsletters serving Florida readers, on topics ranging from space exploration to the outdoors. Check out the offerings from each of our sites: FLORIDA TODAY, TCPalm, The News-Press, Naples Daily News, the Pensacola News Journal and the Tallahassee Democrat.
Finally, I have a request. If you valued the news and information in the Storm Watch newsletter, please consider becoming a digital subscriber. Subscriptions help power our local journalism. You can find subscription offers here, including a Labor Day sale that starts at $1 for three months.
If you're already a subscriber, we sincerely thank you.
Until next time, be safe.
Best,
Eve Samples, USA Today Network-Florida opinion & engagement editor
