Trump's first 100 days have been impressive. This is what I voted for.

Donald Trump will officially mark his first 100 days as president on April 30. It’s been a whirlwind. So far, he has signed 130 executive orders, surpassing the record set by Franklin D. Roosevelt, who signed 99 executive orders in his first 100 days.

Since Inauguration Day, Trump has played hardball on immigration and tariffs. He’s gutted federal agencies in an attempt to make the federal government more efficient, championed domestic energy production and signaled to the world a repositioning of America’s role in international affairs.

It’s impossible to talk about Trump’s first 100 days without addressing his Department of Government Efficiency. The goal of making the federal government more effective and efficient is incredible. With Elon Musk leading DOGE, Trump has tried to take a sledgehammer to government spending. Yet, the job is so enormous, he’s hardly made a dent.

Share your perspective: Trump's first 100 days are nearing the end. What should happen next?

I have been told that Trump is creating a constitutional crisis, but I couldn’t disagree more

I also have been asked: Is this what you voted for? No one can control every move the president makes or all the outcomes of his policies, but yes, more than 77 million Americans voted for Trump to improve the economy. Cutting the deficit and slowing the growth of the national debt is an essential part of that effort, which should have been done long ago.
