I can't stop thinking about this list of Trump's accomplishments

President Donald Trump has passed the first six-month mark of his second term, and boy, what a difference a year makes.

A year ago, Trump was recovering from a failed assassination attempt, and Vice President Kamala Harris was preparing to succeed an ailing Joe Biden as the Democratic presidential nominee. The question of whether Trump would even earn a second term was very much in doubt.

Not only did he win, but now Trump has already accomplished so many things that conservatives have wanted for decades.

This list of Trump’s successes boggles my mind:

  • Trump instituted the Department of Government Efficiency, which resulted in trimming 20,000 federal employees from government payrolls. He also cut employees from the State Department and the Department of Education, both stellar examples of bloated bureaucracy.
  • The Senate voted July 17 to cut $9 billion in federal funds from liberal news outlets like NPR and PBS.
  • When Biden was president, the U.S.-Mexico border was overrun by hundreds of thousands of migrants who crossed illegally. Now, the New York Times reports that crossings have dropped to levels not seen in decades.
  • Trump’s tariffs caused waves, but they’ve resulted in historic trade deals with China and Japan.
  • Trump’s significantly set back Iran’s nuclear weapons program in air strikes that only the U.S. could pull off. He then brokered a ceasefire between Iran and Israel.
  • Trump is protecting women’s spaces. Even the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee has pledged to follow Trump’s executive order on transgender sports by not allowing biological males to compete against women at the Olympic level.
  • Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” will save a family of four as much as $13,300 and boost wages by as much as $11,600 per worker.

If any other president, conservative or not, completed these things in only six months, he’d be heralded as a hero.

Yet, the mainstream media tells us that Trump is deeply unpopular, although his approval rating is on par with other presidents in their second term.

Who knows what successes the next six months will hold?
