#tellusatoday: Are guns on campuses risky or right?

We asked readers on Twitter for thoughts on colleges allowing concealed weapons on campus:

Risky. Main issue I had at college was not enough lights and campus police around. If that were solved, I'd feel safer.

If a 21-year-old can enlist and drive a tank, he should be able to carry on campus, too, if state law allows.

How does being a student trump the Constitution? College students are adults and should not be denied their rights.

I believe that doing so is asking for more gun violence on campuses. Just because you have the right to carry doesn't mean you should.

Concealed weapons can enable other crimes such as sexual assault. Just equip each classroom w/an alarm.
