Objections: Readers take exception to political ad

We were extremely disappointed to see a full-page political ad in your newspaper from Billy Graham, whom we thought was above politics.

The ad, in the Nov. 2 issue of Paste BN, was paid for by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. We are old enough to remember that Graham was a spiritual adviser to presidents, going back to at least Dwight Eisenhower, as well as to all citizens in this great county.

We feel that this is nothing more than a Republican-backed Super PAC advertisement. It is hard to believe that Graham, 94, would allow himself to be used in this way.
