#tellusatoday: How would you improve college football?

We asked our followers on Twitter how they would fix college football and for thoughts about teams changing conferences. Comments are edited for clarity and grammar:

National championship game played Jan. 1. No polls until after Week 5. Speed up games, and no more tearing down of goal posts.

Fix college football? No! Leave it alone. "Fix" it, then we have nothing to argue about or a way to make excuses.

-- @Hplage44

NCAA should say: If everyone goes back to their original conference, we will create a true playoff!

-- @UniqueBlackman1

Give their budgets and overblown coaching salaries to legitimate educational programs for a start.

-- @azurelune

Can fix once realignment stops. Then consistent conference identities/rivalries emerge.

-- @Andrew4han

Give a max of 14 teams per conference. Team must stay in conference for at least 10 years, and implement a distance rule (two teams cannot be far apart).

-- @camchiles3

Use an English Premier League-style relegation system (involving playing each team twice).
