#tellusatoday: Health mandate helps, hurts employees
We asked on Twitter what our followers thought of the ObamaCare requirement for large employers to provide health coverage or pay a penalty. Comments are edited for clarity and grammar:
I think perpetuating a link between employment and one's health insurance is a mistake. Let it be mobile!

"Employer" is the key word. Raise costs, and hours will be cut and/or prices will go up. In the end, the same people pay: us.

I think it's trampling over business owners' rights. Who is government to tell them how to spend their money?
-- @MsRikkiDay
Employers should get out of the health care business altogether. They should not be penalized.
-- @jcbartle
Happy, educated and appreciated American workers are the most productive force on this earth. Yes to ObamaCare.
-- @MichiganVoter1
There are far too many people in our country without health coverage, myself included, but forcing a company to provide it is not the answer.
-- @mpolack
The better solution would have been to set up the system similar to car and life insurance, where individuals buy their own!
