We asked our followers on Twitter what they would like to see President Obama address in his next four years. Comments are edited for clarity and grammar:
The polarization he nurtures today.
— @tridentjohn
Immigration and education reform. Get the economy, housing and health care stabilized! Gun control, and drug and prison reform, too!
— @RodneyKendell1
Enforcing financial regulation. He needs to make sure Dodd-Frank works.
— @citizen1389
He needs to make his party, and the opposing parties, more bipartisan when dealing with tough, political issues.
— @doc_shepard
Fight Islamism. Emphasize the value of separation of religion and state by hiring liberal/secular Muslims in his administration.
— @TarekFatah
End indefinite detention, close Gitmo, and end the drug war in the next four years.
— @stevenwtodd
I would like to see Obama put down his weapons, metaphorically speaking, to stop his divisive rhetoric and work to bring our nation together.
