GOP weighs staying on message vs. change: #tellusatoday
We asked our followers on Twitter whether the GOP should change and, if so, how. Comments are edited for clarity and grammar:
The GOP needs to get off the social issues. Extreme viewpoints alienate independent swing voters such as me!
— @MaterLupa
I suggest maintaining core principles. Don't pander. Tighten the message and stay on message.
— @derricklepin
Improving the GOP's self-serving policies can only be negative for Americans. I prefer resignations over rehabilitation.
— @mikesmoveez
The Republicans need to clean house and use newcomers more, not older people who are narrow-minded and argue about things like marriage.

Letter to the editor:
In response to your article "GOP stresses minority outreach in self-critique," why do I get the unsettling feeling that Republicans look at Latinos as a market share and not as real human beings?
I'm sorry, Republicans, but Latinos can see right through this stuff. If Republicans want to succeed, they need to get their minds out of the board rooms and into the hearts and the homes of the-not-so-well-off. I think they have a long way to go.
