Should genetically modified food be labeled? #tellusatoday
More states are considering bills calling for the labeling of genetically modified foods. We asked our followers on Twitter for their views. Comments edited for clarity and grammar:
Label them! Some might choose not to read or act upon the information, but let me know where my food comes from!

The information should be there for those who want it. Why hide it?

GMO crops themselves might be harmless and safe, but the pesticides they are engineered to withstand certainly aren't.

Yes, I would vote for labeling. It's pretty simple: People should be able to know what they are ingesting.

Let the consumers make an informed decision when they buy.
— @kap5538
We have a right to know what we are putting in our bodies. Other countries already have banned the stuff.
— @jinjen33
I am rather tired of the anti-science charges leveled at the no-GMOs movement. The onus is on biotech companies to prove GMOs are safe.
