OREGON - Ron Eachus: GOP's alternative to Obamacare still is missing
It isn't unreasonable to ask, or expect, the Republican-controlled House to actually develop legislation reflecting their own health care alternative. The Democrats did it in a little over a year. The Republicans have had nearly three years. And there are few more critical issues than health care. Every member of Congress can give a speech on what health care should look like. But it takes effort, hearings, negotiations, confrontations with practicality, and compromise to get something passed. Apparently that's beyond the capabilities or desires of the House.
