Punchlines: Shutdown, NASA and squirrel attacks
The latest victim in the now 16-day government shutdown? The White House. Apparently its garden, which is now, for the most part, unmanned because federal staff members had to be furloughed, is getting attacked by squirrels. According to one comedian, this never would have happened during the Bush administration because vice president Dick Cheney would have defended the garden with a shotgun.
And a new addition to Paste BN's Punchlines is Saturday Night Live. This weekend's spoof of the movie "Gravity" shows what can happen when two astronauts get lost in space and no one at NASA is there to hear them scream.
