On the 58th anniversary of Rosa Parks refusing to give up her seat to a white person, the RNC tweeted: "Today we remember Rosa Parks' bold stand and her role in ending racism." Although the group later clarified the tweet, comedians seized on the idea that racism was over. That is why all books on racism post-1955 are empty, one comic joked.
