Punchlines: Schoolhouse Rocks the executive order

So, how did undocumented immigrants who were watching President Obama's speech Thursday night feel about his use of executive action to save 5 million of them from deportation? Well according to one comic, they were so overjoyed they partied all night and made the GOP even angrier at Obama. It's hard to be happy when the people who are supposed to clean your house show up late, the comic explained.

And how exactly does an executive order work? Well, Jay Pharoah, Kenan Thompson, Kyle Mooney and Bobby Moynihan explain in Saturday Night Live's version of Schoolhouse Rock. During the skit, Obama pushes a bill down the Capitol Hill steps as he welcomes the its chain-smoking alter ego to the grounds.
