'Time' rightly honors Ebola fighters: Your Say

"Time" magazine chose Ebola fighters as its 2014 Person of the Year. Comments from Facebook are edited for clarity and grammar:

Best selection "Time" has made in many decades.

— Ron McCallister

These people risk their lives to help and save others. And Ebola is certainly relevant in 2014. A sound choice.

I'm never reading "Time" magazine again.

This year's runners-up for Person of the Year included the Ferguson protesters? These people are protesting that someone who could have been a criminal was killed. Do these protesters sound like they should be Person of the Year? The people who are causing destruction of neighborhoods? No more "Time" magazine!

I read "Time." It's a good read, and I finish it from cover to cover in about 20 minutes.

It is good analysis and worth the price of subscription, especially in light of the nonsense that passes for news, facts or information online these days. The sewer that is the Internet makes me appreciate newspaper and magazine editors that much more.
