Deleted emails affirm need for transparency: Your Say

Despite saying she used only one device out of convenience while secretary of State, Hillary Clinton used an iPad and a BlackBerry to send emails, an AP report says. Facebook comments edited for style and grammar:

How long can Republicans use Hillary Clinton's emails as an issue? It's sad that they can't focus on the real issues of America.

—Ronald K. Lewis

The point is she apparently lied about using only one device for email. It's not a huge deal that she actually used an iPad also.

—Kenny Ray Travis

The only cloud over Clinton is the one Republicans wish was there. These non-scandals are not convincing anyone but the GOP true believers.

—Betty Eyer

The Clintons have some good qualities, but transparency has never been one. If you think transparency is important, then a Clinton is not your candidate.

—Kelly Laraia

The scarier aspect of all this is that many people think she did nothing wrong. They don't see it as wrong that she chose what emails to delete and that she wiped her server clean. She turned over 30,000 emails, but she may have deleted some crucial ones that referenced Benghazi. If she deleted those it follows that she deleted other official emails as well.

—Issa Belle

If she can't keep simple emails straight, then why would you ever want her as president?

—Mary Knowles

Despite this email incident, when it comes to her presidential potential, she beats any member of the Bush family on every issue from every perspective.

—Walter Lampton
