Will other Democrats challenge Clinton? #tellusatoday

Hillary Clinton officially launched her campaign for president Sunday. Comments from Facebook and Twitter are edited for clarity and grammar:

Glad to see her officially in the race. We'll now start to build an unbeatable coalition of Democrats and independents interested in saving the middle class! I am certain that she'll be a formidable candidate and fantastic leader.

— Ronald B. Morgan

The Democrats seem to be putting all their eggs in one basket. This is very dangerous. A year and a half to go until we vote for president with only one strong candidate! Anything could happen. The Democrats have to have other candidates who can challenge her.

— Matthew Clarke

Many Americans do not find her trustworthy. That will be her Achilles' heel. I think the 2016 election is for the Republicans to lose.

— Dennis Buckley

Hopefully, her economic policy would be on point with Bill Clinton's. Under his administration, our economy prospered. The last thing we need is a Republican behind the wheel of government to stymie or reverse progress!

— Tony Stevenson

Hillary Clinton said it; she's running. I'm excited and following her every move.

She will do fine thanks to partisan politics. It's the same old game.

— @kevintucker19

I have no idea what the result will be. As for the announcement, I'm not surprised, not impressed and not excited.

Former secretary of State Clinton looked presidential, and her message was sincere.

Letter to the editor:

Republicans and the news media will focus on Hillary Clinton's scandals. However, ultimately, Americans will realize that her main shortcoming is simply her lack of qualifications to be president.

Whenever I ask Clinton supporters to name her qualifications, they simply spout job titles — no skills or accomplishments. A résumé that includes only job titles without skills or accomplishments would typically be tossed in seconds. Why would the job of the president of the United States be different from any other in terms of what is demanded before making a "hiring" decision?
