Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., announced last week that he was running for president. So far, he is the only candidate officially challenging Hillary Clinton for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination. Until his entrance, the Democratic primary process seemed more like a coronation, Jon Stewart joked.
So who is Sanders? The late-night comics had a bit of a hard time figuring that out. But they finally hit on the facts: He's a two-term senator and eight-term representative from Vermont.
