Punchlines: Sequels make a comeback
It's no secret that in both the literary and glitterati worlds, stories told the second time around can sometimes be more lucrative than the originals. The latest example? The book "Grey" — the sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey," (which was also turned into a movie) — captures the story from the male point of view and sold more than 1 million copies in just a week after its release, according to reports.
So that gave Bill Maher an idea: What about books that tell "Jurassic Park" from the perspective of the dinosaurs or "Jaws" from the point of view of the shark? See what titles he comes up with for those and more in today's Punchlines.
And speaking of Hollywood, where are the new episodes of "Game of Thrones" coming from? Conan O'Brien, during his visit to Sand Diego Comic-Con, checks in with author George R.R. Martin to see how he's progressing with his latest novel "Winds of Winter." Martin seems to be doing a lot of stuff, but writing isn't at the top of the list.
