It's a sure bet that the weather in a particular state is bad when, as Bill Maher jokes, folks who live there are praying for one natural disaster to help them control another.

Residents in California may soon feel some relief from the drought, one of the longest in the state's history, if rain from El Niño hits this winter as forecasters are predicting.  In the meantime, wildfires are attacking the West Coast, and the EPA has attacked potential water supply from a neighboring state — Colorado's Animas River. Find out what new sport Conan O'Brien promoted for the temporarily toxic body of water.
