Punchlines: Kanye for president?

What was the most shocking moment from Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards? Where to begin? Some might say it was the feud between Nikki Minaj and awards show host Miley Cyrus (there's a long back story here, but let's just sum it up by saying that both blame the media).  And near the top of most lists will likely be the moment when Cyrus exposed her breast on national television (or have wardrobe malfunctions happened so often in Hollywood that they are no longer shocking?).

But certainly, during this season of odd presidential candidates, Kanye West's announcement that in 2020 he's going to run for president has to top the list.  During a rambling 11-minute speech, the entertainer made himself the center of awards show attention again by brazenly announcing his bid (while wearing a sweatsuit?) and then dropping the mike.

Jimmy Kimmel compared his announcement speech to so many of the crazy speeches we've heard from a 2016 candidate (surely you can guess who).  And Jimmy Fallon found a few slogans that West is already considering such as, "There's no Americakanye without Kanye."
