As excited as die hard fans are about the first game of the NFL season, it seems that the New England Patriots just can't help but bring in the scandal.
Not only are people still talking about Deflategate (Jimmy Fallon compared referees to TSA agents), but a league spokesman was left to defend the Patriots against accusations that they may have had something to do with the Pittsburgh Steelers headset mishap during Thursday night's game. According to the NFL, the problem was caused by a stadium power issue.
Then again, perhaps associating the Patriots with scandal is what fans have grown to expect. According to Jimmy Kimmel, the team has cheated more than everyone on AshleyMadison.com combined.
