Get tough on ‘sanctuary cities’: #tellusatoday

Cities shouldn’t be able to pick and choose which federal laws they support and which they don’t.

Why take up a bill? Why not just enforce the laws already active?

I agree with this bill. There should not be any sanctuary cities in the United States. It is a disgrace.

Defund the cities that do not cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement in carrying out deportations.

— Andrew Cohen

— Marcelo Melo

While we can all applaud the several states that are cracking down on sanctuary cities, it really is up to the federal government to go after these cities.
