Did Democratic debate change voters’ minds? #tellusatoday
We asked our followers what they thought about Saturday’s Democratic debate and who won. Comments from Twitter and Facebook are edited for clarity and grammar:
Who won? The ranking is unchanged. I appreciated better moderator questioning. The candidates retreated a couple of times. Voters don’t want choreography.

POLICING THE USA: A look at race, justice, media
The biggest problem I see is that only a small fraction of voters read/listen/watch for the follow-up fact-checking after the debates. So, unfortunately, the vast majority who go to the polls are influenced by lies.
— Frank Efachay
These “debates” are way overdone and way overblown. They have become a contest to see who can talk over other candidates the best while accusing their opponents of being misinformed and less than truthful.
— Ron William
Why did Democrats hold the debate on a Saturday night during college football season and competing with date nights and family gatherings?
— Scott Hardy
People have DVRs and can watch the debate another time besides Saturday night.
— Thomas J. Gottlick
