Punchlines: Where’s Hillary Clinton?
It seems as if Donald Trump’s rhetoric is drowning out all the other presidential candidates. But there are indeed other people running. Still, you’d think Hillary Clinton, the Democratic front-runner, would be in the news more. Stephen Colbert is siding with critics who say Clinton is avoiding the spotlight. After all, she has a big lead over over Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley. Why run the risk of an unscripted gaffe? And it's not likely many people will tune in to see her at the next Democratic debate Dec. 19. That's the Saturday before Christmas, otherwise known as the TV-scheduling phantom zone, Colbert joked.
