Trump’s tax headache: Second Look

Letter to the editor:

Donald Trump has done what nearly all American families do each year: try to pay the least amount of taxes. We are all willing to pay our fair share, but clearly those at the top of the earnings brackets get dinged the worst for their hard work and job creation. Personally, I am more outraged at CEOs who “earn” tens of millions in annual salaries. I see nothing wrong doing in trying to legally pay the least amount of income or property taxes. Yes, that may require litigation and certainly Mr. Trump can afford that while most of the rest of us cannot.

Trump is done. His followers will vote for him regardless of what he does. Like he's said, he could pull out a gun and murder someone and his supporters would clamor for more. However, those supporters are a tiny — yet loud — minority of a political party.

Trump is an elitist who doesn't understand what it's like to worry about your next paycheck. He doesn't care whether he pays taxes. He lets his legal staff fight it out. Does that sound presidential to you? A tax dodger? Well it looks like the U.S. beat him. He's nothing but a thug in a suit.
