Punchlines: Obama in Canada? Ummm, awkward

The last Thursday in June, believe it or not, is National Handshake Day.

A fact like that could make that awkward moment between President Obama, Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau even more awkward.

Obama's trip to Canada for the North American summit was punctuated by his address to the Canadian Parliament, which was met with loud cheers of "four more years" — a scene that caused Stephen Colbert to suggest that perhaps Canada would approve Obama's Supreme Court justice pick. But the moment that most can't seem to forget? That really odd attempt at a three-person handshake by Obama, Nieto and Trudeau. Attempts like that are why the fist bump was invented. Larry Wilmore demonstrates an alternative.
