Thanks to Republicans, Clinton will make history: #tellusatoday
There are so many legitimate reasons not to vote for her.
Hillary Clinton took center stage at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday to formally accept her historic presidential nomination and kick off a 15-week race to the White House. Facebook comments are edited for clarity, length and grammar:
America will support Clinton’s bid for the White House because she is abundantly qualified to lead the nation. Donald Trump is a very dangerous man, handing him the White House will destroy America.
— Richard S Copeland
Clinton is not trustworthy. She seems manipulative and a liar to the American people. She hasn’t had a news conference since the FBI report. She is incompetent. On top of that she has thrown Sen. Bernie Sanders under the bus with the Democratic National Committee. She rubbed it in his face further by not choosing a progressive vice president. Sad.

There are so many legitimate reasons not to vote for her. But there is one giant reason to vote for her: Trump. She will win thanks to the Republicans.
— Glenn Howard
I’m not voting for Clinton but against Trump. It’s awful to have to vote for her, but voting for a third party would give us a repeat of the 2000 elections. This country can’t afford another Republican disaster.
— Josh Homer
I plan to vote for her because I don’t rely on a person’s enemies to give me an understanding of her I think she is arrogant, dismissive and insensitive, but she also has a list of achievements any sane person would be proud of.
— Dave Cawdell
She’s not Trump, that’s all I care about.
In four years, hopefully the Republicans can nominate an adult and I can go back to voting GOP.
— Dave Menard
There’s a reason why people are voting for Clinton. Because most voters don’t want a narcissistic figure like Trump in the White House.

We asked our followers their thoughts on President Obama’s speech on Wednesday, endorsing Hillary Clinton. Twitter comments are edited for clarity, length and grammar:
The president was masterful, uplifting and respectful of all the American people.
— @sharon_kk
Obama’s speech sounded like the Clintons put the word on him to promote the gal he trashed eight years ago. He failed.
— @JessalynBailey
Obama demonstrated the reasons why we voted for him eight years ago. An incredible speech from a class act.
— @tedwardz
He must have just got off the “It’s a Small World” ride at Disney World. We’re at home facing reality, and he’s still in fantasy land.
— @Dmont5487
Obama was the right person to lead the nation the past eight years. Incredible speech. We will miss him and his family.
