Health care reform needs to be reformed: #tellusatoday

It’s time to repeal the Affordable Care Act and address the real problems with health care.

Letter to the editor:

It should come as no surprise that health care costs have jumped up and enrollment has gone down on Obamacare.

What can you expect when our lawmakers failed us by voting on the Affordable Care Act practically without seeing it, after the morally corrupt House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi encouraged her party members to “pass the bill so that you can find out what’s in it”?

The American people need to stand up and speak out. It’s time to repeal the Affordable Care Act and address the real problems with health care like administrative costs, cost of liability insurance for providers and a lack of providers, especially in lower-income areas.

We will know the law is working correctly when lawmakers are held accountable. Until then, they will continue to give us what they think we deserve and we will all suffer.

We asked our followers if the new rate hikes in insurance under the Affordable Care Act affected them or not.Tweets edited for clarity and grammar:

Do you mean the increases caused by states refusing to expand Medicaid under the ACA?

— @DivineMsEva

Rate hikes have not affected us. We use the insurance a lot; one of us has severe arthritis.

Before President Obama, I went to the doctor whenever I needed to. Now I stay home or do my own minor health needs due to the high deductibles.

I’m a supporter, but Obamacare will inevitably fail without massive changes. Lawmakers knew it, but they just wanted to pass it.
