Clinton will make picks just as good as Trump: Your Say

Clinton’s plans get drowned out by Trump’s bombast and rhetoric.

Letter to the editor:

In Paste BN’s “Clinton v. Trump: Poll finds a Labor Day standoff on jobs,” it seems that like Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton plans to place strong incentives on big business to return and keep jobs in the United States, and negotiate better trade deals that create more and better jobs. Although these plans are on her website and have appeared in her speeches, they get drowned out by Trump’s bombast and rhetoric. Clinton should get the same credit for the same job plans.

Furthermore, Trump boasts that he will get the best and brightest talents to negotiate tougher and better trade deals for the U.S. Trump does not have a monopoly on procuring the most talented negotiators. Clinton, as president, would also have her pick of talented negotiators, perhaps even Trump himself who, as a patriot, may want to place his business experience and deal-making prowess at the disposal of his country.

As opposed to Trump, Clinton plans on massive job creation through massive investment in infrastructure, paid for by taxes on the very wealthy like Trump.
